    Position Overview

    At Frontera it takes a collaboration from various departments to provide The Frontera Experience.  As an Accounting Manager you play a critical role as part of the finance department to conduct business consistent with the Company’s Core Values, while creating and executing initiatives that support the strategic direction of the Company.     The Accounting Manager is responsible for assignments delegated by the Controller which may include, but are not limited to:


    • Performing routine accounting and/or digital bookkeeping for multiple customers including the management of accounts payable, payroll processing, monthly journal entries, and financial statement preparation
    • Prepare, review and upload journal entries relating to accounts with supporting schedules including daily reconciliations and month-end and year-end financial reports in a timely manner.
    • Review and analyze G/L transactions, including intercompany accounting
    • Ensure appropriateness with GAAP and internal policies.
    • Prepare monthly and quarterly reporting package and flux explanations for assigned accounts.
    • Support management in completing special projects, ad-hoc reporting and analysis requests, and other tasks as assigned.


    • A BA or BS with an emphasis in accounting required.
    • 2-4 years of general ledger accounting.  Preferably with healthcare companies with sales from $10 million to $50 million in sales.
    • Sound financial statement understanding including knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
    • Exceptional organizational and communication skills, including the ability to effectively present information to various levels of the organization.
    • Fluent with Excel and QuickBooks and experience with various accounting and operations software platforms.
