Position Overview

Working under the supervision of the Director of Sales, this position is responsible for securing new business partners, on-boarding all new practices, retain and grow business while pursuing profitable growth opportunities in accounts.  This position will be measured by gross profit, meeting revenue goals, and client satisfaction.


This position requires a high energy individual that is assertive, outgoing and socially oriented.  The BDE must have a positive attitude, internal drive and experience building long-lasting relationships.  The ability to understand the sales process from beginning to end of the life cycle is a must as well as an understanding of solution based selling.  The BDE will work cooperatively with other members of the operations and billing team to grow existing practices, create new opportunities and meet or exceed monthly utilization goals.


  • Achieve or exceeding utilization goals each month from new business development.
  • Meet all quotas for cold, active, inactive calls, appointments and interviews as established by management.
  • Managing and maintaining a pipeline and ensuring all sales administration is up to date using the CRM software.
  • Plan productive sales calls and communicating Frontera standards which are proven effective and productive.
  • Implement Frontera’s Proven Process (CarePLAN and CareGAP) assessment tools in every new practice before fist test day.
  • Collaborate with management on sales goals, planning, and forecasting.
  • Sells consultatively and makes recommendations to prospects of various solutions.
  • Assist in the training of new sales personnel.
  • Travel throughout the DFW market. 


  • Education: Bachelor Degree preferred
  • Experience: 3 years of healthcare sales experienc
  • Strong surgical relationships 
  • Ability to define challenges, analyze problems, and develop and implement solutions in a proactive and positive manner.
  • Attention to detail in fast paced and dynamic environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple competing priorities making sound decisions.
  • Ability to work accurately under pressure to meet competing deadlines.
  • Ability to multitask and handle stress well.
  • Creativity is a must in order to figure out work-around solutions when something goes wrong. When problems arise, the BDE is responsible for rectifying them.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers and employees of our organization.
